Overview

In Vietnam, there is a significant income disparity between the highest and lowest income groups, highlighting the stark contrast between wealth and poverty in society. According to the General Statistics Office, the current income gap in the country is approximately 7.6 times. In 2022, the lowest income group earned an average of 1.35 million VND per month, while the highest income group earned an average of 10.23 million VND per month.
