GOALS

Increase efforts to protect and preserve the world’s cultural and natural heritage.

Improve education, awareness raising and human and institutional capacity for climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning.

By 2030, provide community access to safe green spaces around schools, in particular for women and children, older persons and persons with disabilities.

Promote capacity building mechanisms effective planning and management related to climate change in rural, disadvantaged areas, including with a focus on women, youth, local and marginalized communities.

Strengthen resilience and adaptation to climate-related hazards and disasters in all countries.

Promote sustainable management of all types of forests, halt deforestation, restore degraded forests and significantly increase afforestation and reforestation globally.

Maintain climate change measures in national policies, strategies and planning.

Mobilize and substantially increase financial resources from all sources for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity and ecosystems
