NAM CAN THO UNIVERSITY’S RESPONSES TO WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2022

At Nam Can Tho University on the morning of June 11, 2022, , a program “Responding to World Environment Day” was organized by the Sub-department of Environment Protection, Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Can Tho City in coordination with the Faculty of Architecture, Construction, and Environmental Studies, the Youth Union – Student Association of Nam Can Tho University.

The program was organized with the meaning of calling on us to build a sustainable lifestyle in harmony with nature; rationally use resources, maintain biodiversity and respond to climate change through policies aimed at a greener, cleaner lifestyle.

At the program to exchange waste for gifts with the theme “For a green Earth”, there were booths displaying propaganda posters on reducing plastic waste, introducing environmentally friendly products; organize physical games and quizzes with prizes on the topic of environmental protection; exchange hazardous waste for gifts.

The program attracted more than 1,000 students to participate, and more than 500 students participated in the gift exchange program.
