Sustainable Development Goal 11 aims to create sustainable cities and communities, highlighting the crucial role of sustainable and resilient urban and rural development in providing safe living and working environments for all individuals. Additionally, Goal 11 emphasizes the need for equitable distribution of population and labor across regions in order to achieve sustainable development in the country.

According to the United Nations (2023) report, numerous urban areas are currently facing challenges such as underfunded public health systems, inadequate funding for essential services, lack of comprehensive public transport networks, housing shortages or dilapidated infrastructures, and high levels of air pollution.

Nam Can Tho University (DNC) is situated on a spacious 264,447 m² campus, with 82,966 m² dedicated to greenery and multi-functional sports areas, making up 31.4% of the total area. These facilities include 04 tennis courts, 02 artificial turf football fields, 05 volleyball courts, 02 basketball courts, 02 badminton courts, pickleball courts, 02 table tennis tables, and 01 swimming pool, all available for the students’ use.
