On April 13, 2023, a workshop on practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry was held, with Mr. Chi Kóch Cha Ra, a former student of the Pharmacy Faculty, Course 5, and Regional Director of Lemed Pharmaceutical Company, as a guest speaker. The workshop, Titled  “Management and Operation Skills in the Pharmaceutical Industry”, was attended by numerous

pharmacy students.

The pharmaceutical industry is unique as it directly impacts the well-being of its users and is a popular field of study among young people. Job opportunities in this industry are highly sought after and offer lucrative salaries. However, securing a job in this field is not a simple task as it requires individuals to possess a variety of qualities that meet the demands of employers, including professional knowledge, technical skills, and soft skills…

“Studying pharmacy not only involves understanding various types of drugs, chemicals, and active ingredients, but also requires persistence, diligence, constantly improving skills, and enhancing professional capabilities. Additionally, it is crucial to have an understanding of consumer psychology, as well as the operations of pharmacies and distribution units. This is because choosing a new drug from an unfamiliar source involves a process of changing habits. However, every problem has a solution, and the key factor is whether one is willing to put in the effort to find it,”stated Mr. Chi Kóch Cha Ra, a former student of Pharmacy – Course 5, and current Regional Director at Lemed Pharmaceutical Company.

In today’s program, our guest shared valuable insights and experiences on finding a job after graduation for Pharmacy students. They also discussed the steps involved in the job search process and provided valuable knowledge about the pharmaceutical field. Additionally, they answered questions about job requirements for Pharmacy students, providing helpful information for the participating students.

The practical experience workshop, which brings together former DNC students and undergraduates, is a unique program that serves as a bridge between alumni and current students. The program’s goal is to foster a sense of “listen now – understand immediately – act on the spot”, creating meaningful interactions between different generations of DNC students.
