In the vibrant spirit of Youth Month, on the morning of March 24, 2024, the Mobilization Committee of the Vinh Long Students’ Association organized the event “Journey for the Green Homeland” at the People’s Committee of Chánh An Commune. The event attracted the participation of 15 enthusiastic volunteers from various academic majors, all sharing the same goal: to build a green, clean, and beautiful environment.
Objectives and Significance:
- Creating green highlights: Each planted seedling is not only a refreshing patch of greenery but also a message about the importance of environmental protection.
- Community connection: This event also served as an opportunity for members of the community to join hands and contribute to a shared goal, fostering solidarity and mutual affection.
- Environmental education: Through this activity, young people were equipped with knowledge and skills related to the environment, enabling them to become active advocates for environmental protection in the future.
The “Journey for the Green Homeland” was not only a meaningful part of Youth Month but also an important milestone, affirming the commitment and practical actions of Vĩnh Long’s youth in protecting and improving the living environment.
