DNC Labor Union – On October 29, 2024, Can Tho City Labor Federation, in coordination with the Can Tho City Department of Home Affairs, organized the 2024 contest on “Administrative Reform, Digital Transformation, and Policies Related to Officers, Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers.” The contest aimed to promote awareness and enhance the sense of responsibility among officers, civil servants, public employees, and workers throughout the city. Additionally, it served to strengthen the accountability of individuals and all levels of labor unions in implementing the State’s administrative reform program within their respective agencies and units.
The contest consisted of two rounds: a multiple-choice quiz on general knowledge and a presentation round where teams introduced their models and proposed innovations to improve administrative reform within their units. Nearly 170 participants, divided into 19 teams from 12 labor unions, took part in the event, bringing with them creative and engaging performances. Through artistic and theatrical presentations, the teams effectively showcased new policies and models related to administrative reform implemented at their respective units. Moreover, they demonstrated significant progress in administrative practices and proposed practical ideas to address existing challenges within their organizations.
In the evening of the same day, the closing ceremony was held, and awards were presented to the participating teams. More than 20 prizes were awarded with the first prize going to Ninh Kieu District Labor Federation. In addition, the Labor Union of Nam Can Tho University proudly won third prize overall alongside two other units: the Labor Union of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Phong Dien District Labor Federation. Other awards included two second prizes and 13 consolation prizes. The organizing committee also presented four special awards to outstanding teams.
The contest also served as a valuable platform for labor unions across Can Tho City to network, exchange ideas, and share innovative practices and highlights in administrative reform at their respective units. This created an opportunity for mutual learning and experience-sharing to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of administrative reform initiatives in each organization.
