On the afternoon of May 25, 2024, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center – a member unit under Nam Can Tho University – in collaboration with Vinh Long Radio and Television Station (THVL) organized the talk show “Green Living – Healthy Living” with the theme “The Role of Regular Health Check-ups.” The program was broadcast live on THVL channel and attracted great interest from viewers.
The talk show featured the participation of experienced medical experts, including:
- Specialist level II doctor. Nguyen Thi Hue – the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center
- Specialist level II doctor. Tran Chi Dung – Permanent Deputy Head of the Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Department, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center
- Specialist level II doctor. Ngo Nhat Linh, Level II Specialist – the Head of the Oncology Department, Nam Can Tho University Medical Center
During the program, the doctors analyzed the crucial role of regular health check-ups in the early detection of dangerous diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and reproductive health issues. The experts emphasized that maintaining the habit of having health check-ups 1–2 times per year, even without symptoms, is essential for timely treatment and the prevention of complications.
In addition to the discussion, the talk show also addressed many audience questions about nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, as well as disease prevention methods suitable for different ages and health conditions.
