The Auto Race 2024 – Autonomous Vehicle Arena is a competition in programming and controlling model cars, where participating teams develop algorithms and code to enable their vehicles to automatically overcome complex tracks.
The competition is not only a technical playground but also a convergence of cutting-edge technologies, addressing real-world challenges in autonomous driving. It is dedicated to students who share a passion for technology and innovation.
With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and autonomous vehicle technology, Auto Race 2024 attracted the strong interest of many young teams. Throughout the contest, participants collaborated, conducted research, and applied practical knowledge of autonomous driving technology while receiving guidance from mentors. Students not only demonstrated their programming and vehicle control skills but also gained exposure to the latest technologies and creative ideas in the field.
After more than four hours of intense and exciting competition among six teams, representatives from Nam Can Tho University achieved remarkable success, proudly winning two Third Prizes in the final round: Team Limitless Creativitya and Team Tracklab. Congratulations to both teams for successfully crossing the finish line, earning well-deserved awards, and gaining valuable lessons and experience from this challenging “racetrack.” We wish them continued success in future competitions.
