
(DNC) – On April 13, 2024, Nam Can Tho University held a practical workshop with alumni and students on the theme “Management and Operations Skills in the Pharmaceutical Industry”. Here, students majoring in Pharmacy had the opportunity to listen to extremely valuable insights about the opportunities, challenges, and potential of the profession.
Pharmacy is not just an academic field but also an indispensable part of everyone’s daily life. From providing essential medications to patients to researching and developing new drugs, the pharmaceutical industry continuously contributes to improving quality of life and extending lifespan. This workshop was not only an opportunity to learn and develop skills, but also an important stepping stone in promoting the development and advancement of the pharmaceutical industry in the future.
Coming to this program, Pharmacy students had the opportunity to listen to fascinating insights from Mr. Chi Koch Cha Ra – Alumni of Pharmacy Program, Cohort 5 – Regional Director, Lemed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

This was considered an excellent opportunity for students to access knowledge and practical experience from those who have succeeded in the pharmaceutical industry. During the workshop, students learned essential management and operational skills needed to succeed in the pharmaceutical field. Mr. Chi Koch Cha Ra – DNC alumnus shared success stories, challenges, and secrets to overcoming dificulties in his career.

The workshop was also an occasion to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the pharmaceutical industry in today’s digital and globalization era. Students had the opportunity to access the latest trends in medical technology and analyze their impacts on the pharmaceutical industry, while being encouraged to be creative and innovative, from creating new pharmaceutical products to developing advanced medical services.

Besides learning from experienced professionals, the workshop also helped students better understand management and operational skills in business, helping students become more confident and solid when entering the pharmaceutical industry and achieve a successful start in their careers.
