Overview
According to the United Nations report, by 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills
needed to promote sustainable development, including through education for sustainable development and
sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence,
global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable
development.
In Vietnam, many children and adolescents still lack access to comprehensive education. To
achieve SDG4, strong investment in educational infrastructure is required, from improving teacher quality to
providing diverse and rich teaching materials, ensuring that everyone has access to training opportunities.
This is especially critical for ethnic minorities, women, and those in rural areas, where access to education
remains challenging.
