DNC – From July 22 to August 2, 2024, Business Administration students from Nam Can Tho University (DNC) participated in a student exchange program, engaging in academic learning and real-world experiences at the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (MUST).
This is one of the key academic and cultural exchange activities within the joint training program between DNC and MUST, offering students the opportunity to access international education during their undergraduate studies.

During their stay and studies in Malaysia, the students participated in a specially designed two-week program that combined critical thinking skill development, academic English enhancement, and various cultural exchange and local experience activities.
The students participated in classes held within the dynamic and modern learning environment of MUST, home to international faculty and a diverse student body. Through direct interaction and daily communication in English—both in academic settings and everyday situations—they were able to enhance their language proficiency and communicative reflexes in a natural and effective manner.
The program integrated activities such as debates and presentations in English, helping students enhance their foreign language proficiency.
Beyond academics, the trip was also a vibrant cultural journey in Malaysia. The students had the opportunity to visit the famous Tropicana Mall, explore Kuala Lumpur while experiencing the modern MRT train system, and join a city tour to iconic landmarks such as TRX, Pavilion, and Pasar Seni – a renowned traditional art and cultural market in the heart of the capital. They also visited Batu Caves – one of Malaysia’s most famous spiritual and tourist destinations – and enjoyed a Hop On Hop Off tour around the city, observing the dynamic life of this multicultural metropolis.

Through this program, students not only broadened their global perspective but also developed independent thinking, gained confidence in integration, and deepened their understanding of diversity in future international work environments. This study tour serves as a vivid demonstration of the educational philosophy promoted by DNC’s international joint program—one that connects theory with practice and blends academic learning with real-world international experiences.
With a combination of diverse cultural activities and direct interaction with native instructors, the program provided a dynamic and creative international learning environment.
Students enrolled in the program will have access to a modern, internationally standardized curriculum focused on developing soft skills, leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and proficiency in professional English. Alongside academic training, the program includes regular cultural exchange and academic activities in Malaysia, providing students with practical exposure to international education and culture.
