On January 30, 2024, Nam Can Tho University and Nam Can Tho University Medical Center, in collaboration with the local Red Cross Chapter in Phong Dien District, organized the charity program “Health Care – Spreading Love”, aimed at supporting disadvantaged families in Phong Dien District for the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024.
This program is a meaningful activity that demonstrates the social responsibility of doctors and staff of Nam Can Tho University Medical Center toward the community. During the charity event, doctors provided free medical examinations, health consultations, and medicine to many local residents, helping them access quality healthcare services right in their locality.
In addition to healthcare services, the organizers also offered practical Vietnamese Lunar New Year gift packages, bringing joy, warmth, and encouragement to families as the new year approached.
Speaking at the event, a representative of Nam Can Tho University Medical Center shared:
We wish not only to provide healthcare but also to share happiness and spread kindness to everyone, especially families still facing many difficulties. This is both the responsibility and the mission of the doctors and staff at Nam Can Tho University Medical Center.
