“Melodies That Cradle Young Souls” – Music Program “Singing for the Little Ones”

Tourism & Hospitality Management 03 – Class of 2021, Major 3 at Nam Can Tho University as the capstone of their Event Organization course. The program featured soulful musical performances under warm stage lighting, accompanied by enthusiastic applause, creating a deeply moving experience

The purpose of the event was twofold: first, to help students practice event planning, teamwork, and social responsibility; and second, to offer emotional support and hope to children at the Thiên Ân social care center. Class members dedicated themselves to planning, coordinating, and executing the event, culminating in a heartfelt musical showcase for both the audience and the children.

Set in the main hall with an attentive audience of students and lecturers, the event unfolded in three thematic segments: “Deprivation and Beautiful Dreams,” “Journey of Growth” and “Tiny Moments“. These segments guided viewers through a range of emotions—from empathy to inspiration—reflecting on hardship and hope. Performances were carefully crafted, featuring student vocalists and the DNC Music Club, mixed with interactive quiz segments to enliven the atmosphere and foster community connection.

Key outcomes of the event:

  • Provided hands-on experience in planning and organizing community events.
  • Improved student confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Brought emotional warmth and joy to children at the Thiên Ân social care center.
  • Strengthened the sense of social responsibility among participants.

More than just a music event, “Singing for the Little Ones” provided students with practical skills in organizing, confidence, and professionalism. It also embodied compassion, bringing joy to children and strengthening social awareness among participants.
