NCTU/DNC – Nam Can Tho University places great emphasis on training tourism students with a 50% theory – 50% practice ratio so that students acquire sufficient foundational knowledge and practical experience to meet professional market demands after graduation.
Recently, from October 21-23, 2024, nearly 250 students majoring in Restaurant-Hotel Management participated in an internship trip to Phan Thiet – Binh Thuan organized by DNC Travel. DNC Travel proudly stands as one of the business units established by the university to build an effective “enterprise within school” closed-loop model that has been operating successfully since 2020.
During this internship journey, the specialized students had opportunities to experience high-end accommodation services of 4-5 star standards, visit entertainment areas within the NovaWorld system, and participate in experience-sharing seminars at Asteria Resort… Additionally, students had the chance to visit and learn about history at Duc Thanh School – where Uncle Ho once stayed and taught before departing to seek ways to save the nation… Beyond academic content, students also participated in recreational activities such as water park games and team-building activities to foster team spirit…
Besides providing practical internship experience for tourism students, this was also the first time DNC Travel collaborated with the Department of communications, advocacy, and student recruitment to include Information Technology & Multimedia Communications students working at DNC STUDIO in the journey, taking charge of timely media communications work
