On the morning of April 2, 2024, more than 200 youth union members from Nam Can Tho University participated in waste collection, sanitation cleaning, sweeping, clearing vegetation, collecting plastic waste, gathering and processing garbage on key road routes in My Khanh commune.
The simultaneous mobilization not only brings about a green – clean – beautiful environment but also creates social impact, contributing to positive changes among local residents in participating in environmental landscape protection, civilized lifestyle, and preventing improper waste disposal.
“Volunteer Saturday” Activity in Phong Hoa Commune, Lai Vung District
At 7:30 AM on April 20, 2024, the Lai Vung Student Association of Nam Can Tho University, together with 12 volunteers, joined the Phong Hoa Commune Youth Union and the People’s Committee of Tan Loi Hamlet to carry out environmental activities along a 1,000-meter road in Tan Loi Hamlet. Key tasks included:
- Clearing overgrown vegetation
- Collecting plastic waste
Through these activities, the Lai Vung Student Association aims to contribute to a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful environment, driven by the enthusiasm of youth. The initiative also helps foster meaningful activities and strengthen solidarity within the association.
